Rosemarie + Adrian | Sneak Peek

Kate + Matthew | Kitchener | Versus Resteraunt

Right from the engagement shoot, I knew Kate + Matthew weren’t going to be my typical couple.

Matthew works for a certain company that makes Photoshop ;) and is really into photography.

Kate’s one of the nicest, most caring people you’ll ever meet.

No pressure.

I loved shooting there wedding from the very first minute.  And since that very first minute was at 1:00 in the afternoon, I got to sleep in on a Saturday!

They chose Versus Resteraunt in Kitchener to have both the ceremony and the reception.  We actually wound up doing all the pictures around Versus and even in back alley.

Kate + Matthew came up with a great idea for the guest to make them kiss:  Scrabble!

Here’s Kate looking awesome.

Favours for the guest.  (never did find out what was in them…)

Verses used to be a church.

The aforementioned alley.

SCRABBLE!

I’ve got a thing for sunset pictures.  You’d never know this was taken in an alley beside a dumpster…. Oops.

Love this shot.

Last shot of the night.

Jill + Mike | Wedding | Chatham

Back on July 4th, I traveled out to the Chatham area for Jill + Mike’s wedding.

The girls started with hair and make up at Sensations Salon in Wallaceburg and Jill finished getting ready at her parents home in Port Lambton.

The ceremony was held at Sacred Heart Chuch in Port Lambton.

Driving around the day before, I had stumbled upon some old abondoned farm buildings out in the middle of nowhere that I thought would be perfect for pictures.   And they were…. But that’s when disaster struck!

Just as we finished and the bridal party was getting back into the limo, I realized that my car keys weren’t in my camera bag.  In a bit of a panic, I told everyone to just to head back for the reception, after all I had driven out to this huge farmers field, so my keys must be here somewhere….

After 15 minutes of me crawling around on my hands and knees with the light fading fast, I was just about to call Mike and have someone come get me when I looked down and the keys were right at my feet.

Lesson learned, I’ve now got a spare key in my wallet.

I actually made it back to the reception only 2 minutes behind the limo, so no harm done.

The rest of the night went off with out a hitch.

The dress.

The bride.

Looking cool.

Dad and his girl.

The rings.
