Jack & Emma turn 2!

Today was Jack & Emma’s 2nd birthday… Time fly’s when you’re knee deep in poopy diapers.

Here’s the Elmo ice cream cone cupcakes my sister made.

Melissa + Christian | Ancaster Old Mill | Wedding

Melissa + Christian had the honour of being my first official wedding of 2009!

They were married on February 28, 2009 at the Ancaster Old Mill.

The day was great.  Very relaxed, intimate and informal.  More about the people there than a big production wedding, which is the way I like it.

Here are some of my favourite pictures from their wedding.

Let them eat cake! | Sweet Sweets Wedding Cakes

picture-055_optimized

Last week I had coffee with Ida from Sweet Sweets, one of the regions hottest new wedding cake designers.

Ida’s cakes are like nothing I’ve ever seen, more like works of art than something you eat… but you DO eat them!

She prides herself on creating cakes that are as unique as her clients, never repeating the same design twice.

If you’re looking for a cake that will impress all your guests, give Ida a call…. Tell her I sent you!
