ISPWP Summer 2009 Contest
I’m pleased to announce that one of my images placed 10th in the Bride & Groom Portrait catagory of the ISPWP Summer 2009 photo contest.
ISPWP is the International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers and features some of the best photographers from around the world (and me!).
10th may not sound like much, but the competition is hugely talented and I consider it an honor to stand beside them.
I’d also like to thank my couple Amanda & Al for being a big part of this image.
Caroline + Mike Wedding | Langdon Hall | Cambridge
Caroline & Mike were married on July 5th, 2009 in Cambridge, Ontario.
We started the day at Caroline’s parents stunning house in Manhiem with the girls getting married.
The ceremony, pictures and reception were all held at Langdon Hall, probably the nicest venue this side of Toronto.
Here are some of my favorite images of the day.
Pre-wedding nap… Every bride should do this!

Looking stunning.
Enjoying the moment.

Michelle + Chris | Brampton Wedding | Rotary Glen
Not every girl could break her foot three weeks before her wedding and not stress about it.
Never mind stress, Michelle did not stop smiling the entire day.
Michelle started the day at the Adamson Salon for the up-do’s and then back to Michelle’s house in Acton to get ready.
The ceremony and reception were held at the Rotary Glen in Brampton.
Here are some of my favourite shots from the day.
Hanging out at the salon.
Bridesmaid dresses.
Some makeup.
Beautiful shot of Michelle in her bedroom.

Bree + Nick | Geraldo’s at Lasalle Park
Cheerio!
Bree + Nick flew in from sunny England (Cambridge to be exact!) for their wedding at Geraldo’s at Lasalle Park. Nick’s the Englishman, Bree’s the local.
The day began at the Travelodge in Burlington with some hair & makeup. Nick was getting ready upstairs in a separate room.
A quick 5 minute drive down Lakeshore and we were at Geraldo’s for the ceremony.
I’ve already posted about them, but the band Freedom Train was awesome and the flowers from Mulder Wedding Florals were stunning.
The highlight of the night was when Bree suprised Nick with their first dance song. She had gone into the studio and recorded a beautiful version of At Last.
Thanks guys, I had a blast photographing your wedding![gallery link="file"]
Jennifer + Glen | London Wedding
It rained. It rained a lot.
But we still had fun!
Jennifer + Glen were married back on June 20, 2009 in London, Ontario.
The day began with the girls at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn with hair + makeup.
The ceremony was held at the Westminster Park Salvation Army church.
Dodging the rainclouds, we headed to downtown London for some pictures and then back to the church for an intimate reception.
I want to thank Jennifer and Glen for having me be part of their day.
